Restaurant review: The Good Leaf Salad Market is a welcome ...

What the scene has now, thanks to The Good Leaf Salad Market, is a space dedicated entirely to healthful greens and house-made dressings.

The Good Leaf, which opened in early July, is fresh, light and green — just like its salads.

The Black Blue Shrimp Salad ($10.95) consisted of fresh greens, spiced (not traditionally blackened) shrimp and a wonderful chunky blue cheese dressing with a tangy zing.

While The Good Leaf offers signature salads, such as the South of the Border Salad and the Caprese, it also provides a make-your-own option priced by the item (like add-ons to a pizza).

Choose from greens, cheeses, proteins, grains, dressings and more to make your salad, your way.

Roseleaf

We are a cosy, wee, family run, fun bar cafe in the historic Port 'o Leith.

From the bar we provide crisp pints, real ales, fresh juices, delicate loose leaf teas, cracking coffee, wonderful worldwide wines, specialist spirits & Pot-Tails... cocktails in teapots!

From the kitchen we serve up wholesome brunchies, lunchies, din-dins & munchies from 10am right through till 10pm every day Including daily specials, fresh baked goodies & Sunday roasts too.

Some say we are a bar, cafe, gastro pub, restaurant or bistro... We'd like to think we are a wee bit of something for everyone.

Roseleaf is split into two main areas, the front lively bar area which is great for casual dining and socialising & the back area, more suited for family dining & quieter catch ups Our bar is decorated with pre-loved furniture & random treasure which continues to blossom with new curiosities we find along the way!
