Amazing place, the people is so warm and nice, and the food is espectacul r, and came here everyday sinnce the first day when I felt in love with this marvellous place.

I’d snacked lightly at the latest gathering of street food traders at the fantastic Pitt, so was in the neighbourhood and in need of something a little more substantial to deal with the edge of my hunger.

I alighted upon Belly Buster, a rather humble looking little cafe sandwich shop on Ferry Road.

The burger proved to be outstandingly good, right up there with BBL as the best I’ve had in the city.

So overall, Belly Buster was a surprisingly impressive place serving burgers of splendid quality.

The Ferry has long been a welcoming place to wine and dine, with recent additions such as Collinson’s and Sol y Sombra only adding to its reputation.

Clearly, The Anchor has met the challenge head on and has given up its lounge and tables around the sizeable bar area to a restaurant that is thriving.

Steak won the day, but there was still a pang of envy when a beautifully presented curry arrived at the next table with garlic naan, rice and vegetable pakora.

Jennifer enjoyed a scoop of mint choc chip while her old man scoffed a double helping of delicious raspberry ripple.
