The warm colour scheme and decor of this licensed vegetarian and vegan restaurant creates an inviting ambience in which to enjoy a range of excellent dishes and also an impressive range of fine wines, some of which are vegan friendly.

David Bann’s menus clearly indicate which items are vegetarian, vegan and gluten free, and their cosmopolitan dishes bring flavours from far and wide including the Mediterranean and Southeast Asia.

A family-run restaurant, Kalpna offers a warm and exotically Eastern welcome to all lovers of vegetarian and vegan cuisine.

With an inviting range of vegan burgers, sandwiches, salads, soups, coffees and cakes, there’s no better place in Edinburgh to enjoy vegetarian snacks at their best.

The culinary focus is vegetarian soul food and many dishes on their menu are purely vegan, too.
