I am a regular Tastecard user and I always call before hand to ensure the tastecard is valid with them still.

We then walked 20 minutes to their hotel, took a seat and as I always do I told them that we have a tastecard.

Abhinshek the AM spoke to the receptionist Kirsty who said she remembered me calling but doesn't remember me mentioning the tastecard.

He then refused to provide the deal, we explained we spoke to her and she said she remembers telling us not to book but doesn't remember the tastecard being mentioned.

When he finally understood this he then suggested that we were lying and didn't mention tastecard!

If you thought the Odeon cinema had disappeared from Lothian Road, fear not.

This recent venture is run by three former members of the Pizza Express team, and it shows in the décor, the menus and the clientele.

Their mixed antipasti is good, providing the cured meats and accompaniments you’d expect, and is served with impressive freshly baked rosemary bread, although slightly scrimping on the buffalo mozzarella.

The pizza menu is divided into three and is pretty self-explanatory with classics, Croma originals and gourmet pizzas.

Gourmet pizzas like chicken piri piri seem overloaded with ingredients – spicy chicken breast, red onions, green peppers, jalapenos, field mushrooms, garlic, mozzarella and tomato – but still prove a popular choice.

Croma Odeon - Pizza Reataurant with Disabled Access - Edinburgh ...

Croma Pizza is located at number 3 Morrison Street just off Nicholson Street.

The restaurant shares a space with the Odeon Cinema and the accessible loo is downstairs by way of a lift.

Sadly, when I visited, the lift to get down to the accessible loo was out of order and had been for more than a month.

The accessible loo is a good one with it being large and clean.

The only downside is that it is accessed by way of a lift from street level down to the basement.
