We had the chicken satay starter and the chicken and sweetcorn soup and the sizzling beef Szechuan and the chicken and cashew nuts both with boiled rice and finished with banana fritter with a lovely bottle of Chenin blanc This is a family owned restaurant with the family all working there and it makes a real difference!!

But the food was good, though not out of the ordinary, the set menu price seemed fairly reasonable, and the 2 who ordered separately from the a la carte menu also enjoyed their meal choices.

Table booked for 7pm which is when we sat down with menus, sat for over 30 mins, nobody came near to even take order for drinks, noticed people who were seated after us getting their orders taken so were on the verge of getting up and walking out, but managed to get the attention of female member of staff or perhaps owner/ manager who apologised and then came back 5 mins later, was only going to take our drinks order but we insisted she take our food order as well as felt she might never come back again.

Once order was placed drink and food was served quickly and food was all delicious but experience was spoilt by the wait at the start and the feeling that we were being ignored while others were being served so wouldnt go back for this reason.

Good quality food, full of favour (no shortage of dishes suitable for my companion, who has sadly developed a condition making spices painful).

Great friendly service, staff helpful.

Food tates and is presented beautifully and are guaranteed to leave full for very reasonable price We have been to this restaurant a few times and on this occasion other family members from Edinburgh joined us and it lived up to the hype.

Apart from those negatives, the service by two girls, including Lynsey (who had just started working there that day, which you would never have realised), was excellent, friendly and attentive, the food, being freshly cooked to order, was delicious.

Superb food and great service as usual we had the buffet menu and the amount you get for the price is great the staff are friendly and the service is not too fast or to slow so you dont feel pushed to eat up and leave Lovely fresh cooked food, very friendly, helpful and attentive staff, clean, modern decor with a relaxed atmosphere.

There was six of us and we all agreed the food was sublime, choice was fantastic and the staff to be very helpful and polite.
