The Albanach - EDINBURGH - Belhaven

Loved by locals and office workers just as much as tourists, The Albanach is a classy bar that puts equal emphasis on food and drink.

You won't be able to miss the 220 malt whiskies behind the long central bar, or the Belhaven beer, nor resist the contemporary Scottish menu with its pub favourites and local specialities.

It's a great chance to get a taste of Highland hospitality right on the Royal Mile, with friendly staff who'll introduce you to the best of what Scotland has to offer.

Working for Belhaven can be many things to many people – for some it may be a fun job in a stimulating environment with great colleagues, for others it may be more about a career with a respected employer who offers exciting prospects.

All our senior management team have a history of working behind bars long before moving into their current roles and indeed we run a bespoke course to help develop assistant managers into our managers of the future.

The County Inn - PEEBLES - Belhaven

Bang in the centre of Peebles, The County Inn was an early-18th century stopping-off point for coaches leaving Edinburgh and retains its historic charm and character to this day.

It's the biggest pub in Peebles and also the friendliest, priding itself on traditional hospitality and great service.

The Four Marys - LINLITHGOW - Belhaven

With its low ceiling, stone walls, cosy corners and attractive bar, it feels like it's been here for ever.

The great range of 40 malt whiskies, 10 Scottish Gins and ever changing real ales, such as Caledonian Deuchars and Belhaven St. Andrews, adds to the air of tradition - as does the delicious menu of classic dishes.

The Four Mile Inn - BUCKSBURN - Belhaven

We all know the joke about the horse that goes into a bar, but there's a folk memory in this popular community pub of the time, many years ago, when someone really did bring a horse inside - and then couldn't get the poor creature out.

No long faces in The Four Mile Inn today when they tell that story, nor indeed when they welcome locals, people passing through on the busy A96 to Inverness, and travellers en route to the nearby airport.

Take a close look at the framed black-and-white photographs on the wall and you'll get a flashback to the days when horses pulled up outside The Four Mile Inn and the locals stood by with flat caps, bicycles and shotguns.

Why not start things off with our delicious Haggis Fritters, served with a creamy peppercorn sauce and salad garnish.

If you love pies why not try our Homemade Steak and Ale Pie made from succulent beef marinated in Belhaven beer and cooked until tender, our Haggis & Potato Pie made with spicy haggis or our Creamy Chicken, Bacon & Leek pie which is topped with flaky golden pastry.

If you still have room for dessert, then why not indulge yourself with our Eton Mess Cookie Cup or our sticky toffee pudding, just delicious!
